US export controls target Chinese military

President Barack Obama’s Export Control Reform Initiative is seeking to overhaul America's export control system.

These reforms aim to help increase exports and create jobs, and strengthen national security as well.

So the reform initiative will enhance, not ease, the prohibitions on destinations like Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria, and will reinforce the US policy of not supporting China’s military modernization program.
